I live 110 miles away in Illinois. They had the manual forester in color I wanted. I called, negotiated the price, went there and picked it up. They did not try to sell any extras, I was out from the dealeship within 45 minutes with my new Subby.

Early this year I was looking for a new Legacy SE for my wife. In NW Indiana, I have about 5 Subaru dealerships within an hour and a half from my house. Knowing exactly the car, color and options I wanted, I sent out emails to each dealership to see which one would come back with the best price.

Having dealt with SoM in the past for repairs and parts purchases, I was hoping they would have the better price. I was in luck, because not only did salesman Ed come back quickly via email with a very good price, but he was willing to find me the car with the options I wanted. Turns out that finding a black SE with only a couple options was harder than I thought. They didn't have one in stock at SoM. Ed spent two days hunting one down and then picking it up for me.

SoM came back with the best price, went out of their way to find the exact car we wanted (and this wasn't a premium model with a big dealer profit) and treated us very well.
